Customer Service Representative

A Hunt Valley printing and marketing company is looking for a detail-oriented customer service representative to assist outside sales representatives and customer’s needs. A typical day would include communicating and processing requests and managing projects in a fast-paced environment. 

Duties:

• Phone and e-mail customer and sales support
• Order entry and processing
• Compiling usage and inventory reports
• Inventory management and monitoring

Required skills/traits:

• Excellent written and oral communication
• Friendly and prompt customer service
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable and knowledgeable with MicroSoft Suite

Desired, but not required:

• Knowledge of the printing industry

Sales/Marketing Internship

We are always on the lookout for smart college students who are interesting in expanding their work experiences. We offer a unique sales and marketing internship opportunity to a qualified college student in exchange for course credit each semester. We're searching for a student with an interest in sales/marketing (preferably in print/promotions), an overall great work ethic, an ability to work independently, a willingness to learn and the confidence to ask questions. Hours are flexible.

The intern will be responsible for:

• Compiling and qualifying new prospects and maintaining existing customer databases
• Managing marketing material inventory and requests
  
• Fulfilling sales and marketing communications requests
  
• Collecting, organizing and monitoring all print samples
  
• Attending sales and marketing meetings as needed/possible
  
• Offering general sales and marketing assistance

You must be comfortable using the internet and manipulating Microsoft Office files, in particular, Excel.
